Leading Role (Grace) - 'The Various Methods of Escape'
"Lucy Hadfield gives a great performance in the role of Grace. She is believable as the tormented soul, trying to find herself again. The playwright wrote in her program note, ‘Grace wants to be in control of her own narrative after it had been taken away from her for a long time. Grace has moments of rare clarity which Hadfield conveys well."

Leading Role (Miriam) - 'STREET'
“In Street, writer and director Liviu Monsted presents to the audience a grim picture of the plight of young people living on the street…. From the blanket emerge Foster, played with stoic resilience by Stuart Oliver, and the nervous, uptight Miriam, played so realistically by Lucy Hadfield. Foster has a type acceptance of his situation while Miriam is dependent and desperate, but there is a protective bond between them as they struggle to survive together to find food and safety.”

Leading Role (Miriam) - 'STREET'
"Hadfield gives a heartfelt performance as a young Miriam seemingly beaten into a timid and self-conscious personality. Against Chenaye’s brash and upright outlook, Hadfield is heartbreakingly vulnerable”.
Weekend Notes
Leading Role (Miriam) - 'STREET'
“As the performance progresses, you can see into the cruel, atrocious world where human beings are fighting each day for survival. The play put this into perspective on how society "forgets" and "neglects" the homeless, as many of us do not know their stories, their struggles, their demons. The play hits you hard and showcases deep emotions, thankfully, there are moments of humour which lightens the mood. The cast did a fantastic job and executed the performance brilliantly.”
